In around July and August 2020, KOCO was receiving questions from viewers like where is Rayne, where has Rayne been, and where did Rayne go. Rayne came out and revealed that at the time, she was expectant of Joy and she was experiencing severe vomit and nausea, and when she went for a check-up, she was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum (a sickness that comes with pregnancy sometimes.). She explained her absenteeism that the illness caused vomiting pretty much all day and that hindered her ability to do her job.
Rayne said that the reason why she did not share about that early on was that she was not sure if it would end in a miscarriage. She said that that would have been too hard to share. She however delivered her pregnancy well and safe as she went back to continue with her career.
