Serapio began his career in journalism as a chase producer and writer for CTV’s Canada AM. He traveled to Ottawa to work as the program’s parliamentary producer before moving on to CTV News as a senior field producer and then supervising producer for Sunday Edition, CTV’s political affairs program. He also is a supervising producer for CTV’s political affairs program, Sunday Edition.

Michael’s production career concluded with spells as a senior specials producer and acting executive producer of Canada AM, all before the age of 30. Michael had always wanted to be a reporter, so he changed his career path at the age of 30. He left network news to work as a local reporter in Vancouver, then went on to work as a reporter for Toronto1 and CityNews in Toronto.
