Nadia Kidwai Career

Nadia was the chair of the Manitoba Women’s Advisory Council before joining CBC Manitoba, where she advised the Minister responsible for the Status of Women on issues affecting women and young girls across the province.

She was also a member of the Winnipeg Immigration Partnership Council and co-founded the Canadian Muslim Leadership Institute. Nadia has spent much of her time in Winnipeg introducing people from different backgrounds and breaking down boundaries.

She’s worked with a variety of small groups and hosted a slew of major gatherings. She is a dedicated community builder with a strong network. Being a single mother of two young boys she is incredibly knowledgeable about all things Star Wars, Minecraft, and other cultural phenomena.
