He realized his dream of becoming a meteorologist at the age of 2 and grew up watching the local news. Especially, 6abc Action News engrossed him which is the powerhouse sister station of ABC 11 in Philadelphia.
Also, when he was in 4th grade, he was featured in a PBS Kids commercial highlighting his passion for broadcasting. While in college, he served the Centre County Report as the weathercaster.
Via his broadcast of the 2017 hurricane season, he was rewarded “Best Student TV Weathercaster” in the state by the Broadcast Education Association. Moreover, he was voted Vice President of Penn State Meteorology’s Campus Weather Service which is the oldest and biggest student-run forecasting organization in the nation.
During his tenure as the Vice President, he conducted the club’s huge social media presence. And, he served as Executive Producer for CWS’ live broadcast report of major storms. However, his most effective moment was when he served 46 Live as a host which is the official live stream for the Penn State Dance MaraTHON.
THON is the biggest student-run philanthropy in the world. In addition, the organization devotes itself to supplying both emotional and financial support to children and families affected by childhood cancer. The year-long endeavors of more than 16,000 student volunteers peak in a 46-hour no sleeping, no sitting dance marathon.
In addition, he is a member of the American Meteorological Society and is always looking to master the atmosphere. When he is not working, he loves exploring new coffee shops and listening to music.
