Before that, he served as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter at KCOP-TV in Hollywood, California, for over six years. Before that, he was a Senior Correspondent and Anchor at KADY-TV for about a year and a half. Additionally, he worked as an Anchor and Reporter at WNET-TV in Newark, New Jersey, for nearly four years.
Kovacik gives viewers a close look at what’s happening locally and around the world. He has gone to England to report on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and her State Funeral. Kovacik received an award from the British Consul-General of Los Angeles for his Summer Olympics reporting. He won several Emmys for both of these jobs.
