Scotto has been the lead female anchor since the year 1990. Other than her journalism job, she also works as a part-owner of Fresco by Scotto, the family’s New York City restaurant. There she assists in the kitchen, as well as greets diners.

Scotto got her start at Ted Turner’s UHF television station in Atlanta, Georgia, WTBS-TV. There she served as a News Reporter for 2 local programs, as well as an Associate Producer of the WTBS’s evening newscast. She holds 3 Emmy Awards for her work as an anchor of Good Day New York, as well as FOX 5 News at 10.
