The Miami New Times voted her as “Best TV Host” in 2012 and as the “Best TV News Anchor” in 2018. She has served as a news anchor for more than ten years. While serving as a news anchor, she has covered health, entertainment feature reporting, local and national breaking news, and consumer news.
While she still works at NBC 6, she also gives reports in Spanish at NBC 6’s sister station, Telemundo 51. Previously, she served as NBC 6 News 5 a.m news anchor covering entertainment, consumer news, features, and national news. Furthermore, she is a published author and co-writing the book 100 Things to do in Miami Before You Die.
While serving as an anchor, her outstanding work has been recognized with; a Flamingo Award three times, recognized by Save and The Aqua Foundation for Women, and honored with the key to the City of Miami Beach.
