On NewsChannel 13 Live at Noon, Subrina moved into a permanent anchor role in 2010. Two years later, she began co-anchoring a favorite morning show in the Capital Region.
In June 2005, just two weeks after graduation from college, she began working with NewsChannel 13. Subrina first started out as the news chief for Berkshire County, where she was in charge of the following news throughout Berkshire County, Mass., and Bennington County, Vt. She moved to the main station in Albany after one year, where she was a reporter and a fill-in anchor.
When tropical storms Irene and Lee hit the Capital Region, Subrina covered several presidential visits and was the lead reporter, causing some of the worst storm-related damage this area has seen in years. She was one of the main reporters sent to Boston by NewsChannel13 to cover the Boston Marathon bombings. In the movie “The Place Beyond the Pines,” shot in Schenectady, Subrina also had a small role. When coming to her education, she is a graduate of Syracuse University.
