Elizabeth serves at WCCO-TV as a Weekend Host. She says in her travels as a journalist, one common denominator was that she always really liked the people she met from Minnesota. Years before, she had gone to visit her longtime friend and WCCO reporter, Heather Brown, when she realized the cities are as great as the people.

Littlefield’s first crack at the news was at KRON in San Francisco as an intern. She then joined Teach for America and taught first grade in under-served schools in Houston and Texas. After TFA, Littlefield got back into journalism. She has worked as a reporter and weather forecaster in Columbus, Georgia. Most recently, Littlefield worked as an evening anchor and reporter at WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C.

When it comes to her education, she attended and graduated from the University of Georgia’s school of journalism. Littlefield always wanted to be in Twin Cities. Littlefield decided she wanted to be a journalist in the fourth grade. She went to the University of Georgia’s school of journalism. While at the university, she helped produce the Peabody Awards in New York City and studied in Rome, Italy.

During her free time, Littlefield loves hanging out with her family and eating fried okra. Speaking of food, Littlefield loves taste explorations and diving into the Twin Cities restaurant scene. She also loves to run, play fantasy football and hop a plane to someplace she’s never been.
