Mohs serves at WCCO-TV as a News Reporter. She is excited to be telling stories in her home state of Minnesota. Prior to coming back home, Mohs was a reporter in St. Louis, MO at KMOV. There, she told feature stories for a segment called “St. Louis Proud.” In 2018, she was nominated for a Midwest Emmy and won a Missouri Broadcasters Award in 2019.
While in St. Louis, Mohs got to cover the 100th PGA Championship and the St. Louis Blues winning the Stanley Cup in 2019, both were career highlights! She started her career after college in Little Rock, Arkansas at KTHV. She began as a producer and quickly transitioned to a reporter, then an investigative reporter, and then a weekend evening anchor.
Marielle grew up in Eden Prairie before moving to Linden Hills just before starting high school. When it comes to her education, she attended Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School. Later on, she attended the University of Denver and graduated with a degree in Journalism Studies with minors in Spanish and Marketing.
Some of her favorite jobs to date are her humble beginnings which include scooping ice cream at Sebastian Joe’s in high school and serving buckets of fries at the Fresh French Fries stand at the Minnesota State Fair during her summer breaks in college. During her free time, she loves skiing, both water, and snow.
