Vossoughian serves at MSNBC as a weekend news anchor and the host of Yasmin Vossoughian Reports that airs on Weekends from 3 pm to 5 pm on MSNBC based in New York City. Previously, she was the host of “Morning Joe First Look”. Vossoughian joined MSNBC as a co-producer on “Up With David Gura”. She was substituted several times as the host of that program. In addition, she also worked on Morning Joe as its anchor and left the show in September 2020, and passed the role to  Kasie Hunt. From then on she became a weekend anchor on MSNBC Live.

Her career began as a production assistant at  E!. Prior to serving as a producer for the Style Network, she secured her first on-air job at the German-based internet TV station DTV. She covered events such as the New York City mayoral elections and the September 11 attacks during her time at DTV. Additionally, she did red-carpet interviews with celebrities such as Robin Williams, Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, and Susan Sarandon.

Later on, she became a correspondent for Current TV, an internet, and broadcast network driven by viewer-created content from around the world. She traveled alone to Tehran, Iran to produce a documentary on the underground youth culture there during her first assignment at Current. From there, she now joined NBC’s MSNBC.
