While there, she earned an Emmy Award for an anti-bullying series. Also, the Missouri Broadcasters Association recognized her as “Best News Anchor” in the year 2019.
Corey has worked for ABC 6 in Providence, Rhode Island for 4 years and 8 months (September 2011 – April 2016) as an evening news anchor (most recent position). Previously, she served as a 5 PM News Anchor/Reporter and before that, as a Morning News Anchor. She began as a General assignment reporter at ABC 6. Before going to ABC 6, Corey served at WCJB TV20 in Gainesville, Florida as a news reporter.
Mentioning her education, Corey is a proud alumnus of Florida State University. She graduated from the university in the year 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communication and Media Studies.
