When coming to his education, he moved to the Elkins Institute in Atlanta to earn a First Degree License in broadcast engineering. He graduated from high school and attended the University of South Carolina for two years. He earned his degree in meteorology from the state of Mississippi.

Dale keeps busy with other voice recording jobs and sports announcements in his spare time. He is the Clemson Tigers football and basketball public address announcer. He is a popular speaker and narrator and is also invited to participate in the local church, school, and community group programs.
