Before joining WYFF, she served at Hearst Television, WPTZ, in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
She has won awards from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association for Best Investigative Story and Best Feature Report, and a New York State Associated Press Award for Best Feature Reporting. Gabrielle got her start at KEYC TV News in Mankato, Minnesota. She was an anchor and reporter for the weekend and was a “one-man band,” creating and anchoring newscasts, filming, recording, and editing stories herself.
When coming to her education, he graduated with a BA in Broadcast Communications and a minor in French from Elon University in North Carolina. She spent a semester studying in Paris at the University of the Sorbonne. Gabrielle became a Riley Fellow for her role in the Diversity Champions Program at Furman University’s Riley Institute.
