She joined the station in 2013 as the morning traffic reporter. Previously, she served “The Regina Brett Show” on 89.7 WKSU, Northeast Ohio’s regional NPR affiliate as the main producer and correspondent.

Previously, she served “The Regina Brett Show” on 89.7 WKSU, Northeast Ohio’s regional NPR affiliate as the main producer and correspondent. Furthermore, under her leadership, “The Regina Brett Show” won many state and national awards. The show won the category of the best radio show and the Ohio Excellence in Journalism award.
Northeast Ohio is her native home. Furthermore, she served as the co-creator, host, and producer of the station’s “Rising” initiative. The initiative told the stories of people in Northeast Ohio who have overcome challenges to attain success and inspired others to do the same.
She told a story titled “Rising” episode which featured a teen with cerebral palsy who pursued his dream of playing organized basketball. In 2018, the National Association of Black Journalists awarded her with a Salute to Excellence Award and she won a regional Emmy Award.
After her graduation, she began as an intern for NPR’s afternoon news magazine show “All Things Considered.” From there, she moved to work at ABC affiliates in Cleveland and CBS. She is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists, and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In addition, she is a church leader and her aim is to serve Northeast Ohio women’s needs.
