Uliano is a bachelor’s degree holder from Emerson College. He currently works for WTOP serving as both a reporter and an anchor since November 2010. At WTOP, he covers news from changing economic conditions to severe weather conditions and threats to safety. Dick took another job at Sirius/XM as a part-time show host, POTUS from June 2011 to November 2012. While at Sirius/XM, he hosted the Politics of the United States (POTUS) Morning Brief show during the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary. Uliano also hosted Press Pool a mid-day show.

Before joining WTOP, Dick worked at CNNRadio from 1999 to 2010 as the Washington correspondent. While on CNNRadio, he reported about the accident and investigation of the space shuttle Columbia’s reentry in Houston. Additionally, he covered the presidential campaign in 2008, presidential debates, Barack Obama’s inauguration, 2005 Hurricane Katrina, and the 11th September terrorist attack. Dick also covered the 2009 Oslo Nobel Peace Prize awarded to President Barack Obama, the 2002 Moscow arms treaty signing, and he went to Rome when the pope died.

Uliano started his career from 1983 to 1999 as the Capitol Hill correspondent for Associated Press Broadcast. In 1986, he was a co-anchor at the Kennedy Space Center during the live AP broadcast for the launch of Space Challenger that exploded 73 seconds after take-off. In 1998, he was the first to report on a gunman who stormed into the Capitol and killed two police officers. Uliano has been on Air Force One with former presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan.
