Robelot serves at WYFF News 4 Today as a news anchor and correspondent. She joined WYFF News 4 as a contributing reporter and anchor for the news magazine Chronicle. In 2017, alongside Gabrielle Komorowski and Chief Meteorologist John Cessarich, she was appointed full-time co-anchor of WYFF News 4 at 4.

Jane transitioned to television with WSPA after her radio career, before going on to WCAU-TV in Philadelphia and then to CBS News in New York, where she worked as a national anchor on both “CBS Morning News” and, later, “CBS This Morning” from 1995 to 1999.

Jane reported some of the most notable events of that period on CBS News, including The Bombing of Oklahoma City, The Death of Princess Diana, the historic visit of Pope John Paul II to Cuba, and the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan. 

The next move for Jane was to WGCL-TV in Atlanta, where she anchored the newscasts at 5, 6, and 11 pm. Then in 2006, to start Carolina Zoom Productions, a video production company and studio, Jane and her husband returned to her hometown of Greenville.

For her outstanding work in broadcasting, Jane has won numerous honors and accolades. Jane received two National Emmy Awards for reporting excellence, and a National Emmy nomination, while at CBS News in New York. And as part of the WYFF News 4 team that produced the special, Chronicle: Paul’s Gift, she received the coveted Peabody Award in 2009.

She has also enjoyed a number of special ventures, including co-hosting Orlando’s Florida Citrus Sports parade and moderating a World Bank panel discussion at their headquarters in Washington, DC. She is a Riley Fellow and a member of the Technical Women’s Forum in Greenville.

In Economics and is an ardent fan of the Tiger. She is a very active alumnus and a founding member of the Board of the Center for Visual Arts, having served on the President’s Advisory Board. When coming to her education, Robelot graduated with a B.A from Clemson University.
