Her first stint was from December 2010 to January 2014, and she also worked as a meteorologist intern in Severe Weather Center 9. At the time, she was still in college. Just before rejoining WFTV, she worked for KOB-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a meteorologist for 3 years and 2 months. After Crimi’s first stint at WFTV, she went to serve as a Freelance Meteorologist at KRQE NEWS 13/KASA FOX 2 in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 9 months, and then now moved to KOB.
Having lived in Minnesota almost all her growing years, ice scrapers, snow shovels, ice-fishing, etc, are not new to her. While growing up, she loved math and science and she always knew that she would one day work in the science field. It was during the 2004 hurricane season that Crimi got hooked on severe weather and wanted to pursue Meteorology. Crimi has worked for KRCG in Columbia, Missouri as a Meteorologist for 2 and a half years (July 2008 – December 2010).
During her leisure time, she enjoys playing volleyball and basketball, among other sports; cheering for the Vikings; doing home renovations; spending time with loved ones (family and friends), or having Carne Adovada and tamales.
