Melanie’s adaptability has served her well in a variety of roles, from moderating political discussions to anchoring red carpet coverage at the Toronto International Film Festival. Melanie was the face of CityNews weekend newscasts before serving as a co-anchor for the relaunch of CityNews “The 5” in 2013.
She previously worked as an anchor for Breakfast Television, Toronto’s number one morning show, where she also reported live on-location on the day’s biggest headlines and co-hosted segments alongside Breakfast Television anchors. Melanie rejoined the cast of her morning show in 2015.
