Sladjana began her radio broadcasting career in June 1997. That was the year she started working at CHIN Radio/TV International, where she was in charge of multilingual programming.

She recalls sitting in the back of master control as a child, snacks and toys in hand, watching her mother develop and deliver her weekly Serbian program on CHIN’s airwaves.

As she grew older, she began to consider “what she wants to be when she grows up?” Anything not related to radio seemed pointless…and the rest is history! She has returned to work as an audio editor, traffic reporter, and news anchor since completing her internship.

She’s worked in board operations, commercial production, sales, marketing, and promotions, as well as television editing, but anchoring is proving to be the most enjoyable experience she’s ever had. It’s her pleasure to show you around our neighborhood or the rest of the world in only a few minutes.

She enjoys live entertainment, cooking, watching movies, and traveling when she is not keeping you informed. “To me, working in radio is more than a job; it’s a way of life.
