In the year 2002, Reinstein was on a “Chronicle” team that won a national DuPont-Columbia Broadcast Journalism Award. They got the award for their report on Boston’s Big Dig, a huge public works project that caused a lot of debate. The team explored how such massive projects are done in other parts of the world. Then, in the year 2018, Reinstein received an Emmy for a story he did about the “Good Night Lights” phenomenon in Providence, Rhode Island. When coming to his education, Reinstein is a proud alumnus of Brandeis University, where he earned a master’s degree in Political Science and a bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts.
