He started his career in June 2011 at WAGA in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked as an Intern Meteorologist for 3 months. At the time, he was still in college. After that, he then went for another internship at WGN-TV in Chicago, Illinois where he spent 5 months (January 2012 – May 2012). From there he went to intern as a meteorologist at WTTG – FOX in Washington D.C. for 3 months.
Upon graduation from college, he went to work for WMBB in Panama City, Florida as a meteorologist. There he reported on multiple severe and tropical weather events while working as the midday and morning meteorologist. While there, the American Meteorological Society honored him with the CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) designation in February 2015. During his leisure time, he enjoys golfing, running (especially evening run), exploring the outdoors, and firing up the grill.
