He’s looking forward to seeing what Austin has to offer and hearing about the people who live here.
Hank worked as a multi-media journalist in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for two years before moving to Texas. There, he experimented with videography and told award-winning stories. He intends to apply the same enthusiasm to his work.
Cavagnaro was born in San Diego, California, and has lived in a variety of locations, including Italy and Lawrence, Kansas. He loves returning to Kansas for sporting activities, but he is particularly looking forward to seeing his Jayhawks (Rock Chalk!) take on the Longhorns in Texas. Hank wants to incorporate visual elements into his stories to make them more interesting.
He attributes his skill set and continued skill development to the National Press Photographers Association, which he credits for seminars, contests, and mentorship. Hank likes going outdoors as much as possible while he is not working. He enjoys watching and playing sports. He’s interested in learning more about the Austin food scene and is still on the lookout for new restaurant suggestions.
