Before joining The Weather Channel, Stephanie was a WTXL-TV morning meteorologist in Tallahassee, FL. Stephanie is a member of the American Meteorology Society and the National Weather Association. She holds the AMS approval seal and from 2002-2003 was president of the North Florida chapter of the AMS.
When coming to her education, she graduated cum laude from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. She also received a bachelor’s degree in geography from Florida University, Gainesville, FL, where she graduated with honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Furthermore, she obtained a mathematics minor.
